If your car clears it, then you can get up to $2,000 discount on your new car which you are planning to buy. This contract has to be taken between the car dealer and the scrap dealer.
The weight of the car is very important. Most scrap dealers will weigh the car and then provide your car with an offer. They do not usually check whether the car is in a running condition or not.
